The ISGS Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest distinction of the International Sol-Gel Society (ISGS), recognizing a career of outstanding contributions to sol–gel science and technology, as well as a lasting impact on the scientific community and future generations of researchers.
The Board of Directors of the International Sol-Gel Society (ISGS) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 ISGS Lifetime Achievement Awards:
- Prof. Ulrich Schubert (Vienna University of Technology-TU Wien, Austria)
- Prof. Michel Wong Chi Man (University of Montpellier, France)
These distinguished scientists are honored for their exceptional careers and their fundamental contributions to the advancement of sol–gel science and technology.
The awards will be presented at the Sol-Gel 2026 Conference (Lisbon, Portugal, August 31 – September 4, 2026).
The awardees will deliver their AWARD LECTURES during the conference.
