Planning for Sol-Gel 2024, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, is well underway, and the conference website is now live. The conference will be held at Langenbeck Virchow Haus in the heart of Berlin. Every host city over the >40-year history of our conference series has contributed its own unique “flavour”, and the 2024 Berlin meeting will further continue this rich scientific, technological and cultural tradition. This is the second time that the Con-ference will have been hosted in Germany, with the 1983 meeting having been held in Würzburg. Since the first conference in 1981, which was held in Padova, Italy, the meeting has now been hosted in 13 different countries across the globe.
