In this eSeminar, our research on the use of sol-gel-derived inorganic or hybrid organic-inorganic materials in energy storage applications will be described. Particularly, the contribution of sol-gel technology to the preparation of oxide solid electrolytes and the design of composite electrodes and interfacial electrode/electrolyte materials for allsolid-state batteries will be discussed.
