The International Sol-Gel Society has organized jointly with Clermont University and Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC-Paris 6) a new edition of the ISGS International SummerSchool, dedicated to Advanced Characterization Techniques for Sol-Gel Materials.
This School was a great opportunity to meet specialists in the field in an friendly environment. In addition to the lectures, a permanent poster exhibit has been held to give participants the opportunity to display their research and discuss it (a best poster has been awarded).
The School has been held in the Massif Central (Chambon-sur-Lac, near Clermont-Ferrand), the volcanic plateau which is located in the center of France, in the heart of Europe.
