Workshop: “Photonic Glasses by Sol-Gel”

To celebrate the 2022 as the “International Year of Glass”, proclaimed on May 18, 2021 by the United Nations General Assembly, International Sol Gel Society (ISGS) together with International Commission on Glass (ICG) organizes the special workshop “Photonic glasses by sol-gel”. This workshop which is on July 24th 2022 in the preamble of The international Sol-Gel Conference SOLGEL 2022 and is focused on glassy sol-gel materials for Photonics.

This workshop will be organized in the format of traditional ISGS summer school and will be addressed to the young PhD students* and scientists who would to learn about last achievements in the field of photonics and glasses obtained through the sol-gel method.  This event will treat with the state of the art on the fundamentals, preparation and characterization of materials obtained by sol-gel with important photonic applications.

The workshop will offer the most up to date lectures presented by the most prestigious names in the field of Sol-Gel and Photonics:
